Young people enjoy exploring ideas in these participative workshops, delivered by a responsive facilitator.  In the spirit of problem-posing education, students get involved in stimulating case studies and begin the work of becoming responsible social actors.  Get in touch to discuss how I can challenge and interest your students.

Moments of

Realisation

Our workshops cultivate moments of realisation; new ideas and fresh perspectives that become the impetus for change.

Integrated
Theory

My workshops combine proven  methodologies to help young people explore and problem solve.

Foundational concepts include:

PROBLEM POSING EDUCATION

The facilitator teases out realisations and helps the young people develop new perspectives through their own discovery.

PERSON CENTERED LEARNING

The learning relates to the concerns and lives of the young people, as they come to light through the process.

CRITICAL THINKING

Through challenge and reflection the young people are encouraged to think about their thinking.

FORUM THEATRE

The learning begins with characters, images or narratives into which the young people are able to safely project their thoughts and explore perspectives.

SOCIAL PEDAGOGY

The facilitation is concerned with the overall development of the the young people, promoting learning that can be applied to their lives. The learning is a shared, explorative experience.
